About Us
草榴社区 is a Multi-Academy Trust, ambitious and enthusiastic to make students' education the best in Britain.
The Trust was created on 1st August 2016 out of the success of Priory Community School, an Academy Trust. The school was turned round from 'coasting' to become one of Britain's best academies under the outstanding visionary leadership of Neville Coles from 2006.
Priory became known across the country as an inspiring environment of innovation, achievement and success. Crucially, it is a happy school that students feel valued, cared and supported. Small class sizes and exceptional teaching and staff are also fundamental components of its success.
Mr Coles is one of the UK's outstanding education leaders. He is also a National Leader of Education, Ofsted inspector and former Guardian teacher of the year.
Priory is a National Teaching School and has trained up over 500 of its over teachers over the last few years.
